Registration to the AMP 2018 Annual Meeting & Expo includes:

  • Daily plenary sessions and workshops
  • Continental breakfast, coffee breaks, and lunch on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. All meals are buffet-style with vegetarian options.
  • The Welcome Reception on Thursday, November 1st (Please indicate if you plan to attend when you register for the meeting).

Tickets for special events such as the Social Event must be purchased separately. Please indicate if you plan to attend each event when you register for the Annual Meeting & Expo. More information can be found on the Special Events page (coming soon!)

* A "Technologist" is an individual involved in the clinical practice and/or research aspects of molecular diagnostics whose primary duties involve bench work, developing and/or performing tests.
**A "Trainee" is a student, resident or fellow. A letter from the Program Director is required for Trainees who are not AMP Associate members and must be submitted at the time of registration.

***Day pass: access only to expo hall and sessions.

****Local Technologist Expo Hall Pass: expo hall only pass for technologists who work in Texas (you must bring a letter from a supervisor)

Payments

The Online Registration System allows payments by credit card, check and wire transfer. Please note, if paying by check/wire transfrer, you must complete the online registration form. An invoice will be created, the registration is not confirmed until payment has been receieved.

 

Policies

Cancellations

Cancellations received by written notification to amp@amp.org through October 5 will receive a refund (less a $100 processing fee). No refunds after October 5.

Social Media Policy
We encourage the use of social media for professional networking purposes before, during and after AMP 2018. Attendees are also invited to share insights from presentations provided that they are respectful of the presenter’s wishes: if slides or posters indicate that photos are not permitted, attendees must refrain from taking pictures and sharing on social media. To ensure that everyone has a positive social media experience, please adhere to these guidelines:

Lost/Replacement Name Bages
If you lose your Name badge, you can have a replacement badge printed for $20. Please visit the Registration Desk at the Convention Center for assistance.

Target Audience

The target audience for the AMP 2018 Annual Meeting & Expo is clinical practitioners/physicians, research scientists, medical education professionals, laboratory managers and supervisors, clinical laboratory scientists/medical technologists, students and postdoctoral fellows/residents with an interest in diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic approaches in molecular pathology.

 

Welcome Reception & Social Event Tickets

Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception (Thursday, November 1st) is open to all registered Meeting Attendees at no cost. The Welcome Reception will be inside the Exhibit Hall.

Social Event
The Social Event (Friday, November 2nd) requires separate registration. Please join us for dinner and dancing! Space is limited, so please make sure you get your tickets early!
